Ozzie and Harriet Wedding
by Michael DeGreve on Apr 22, 2010
When Ozzie and Harriet decided to do one more season, in 1973, I actually got to play the part of a minister and re-marry them in that living room that I grew up watching as a child in the 1950s and 60s.
What wonderful people they were. It was something I've always treasured. Ricky Nelson was one of my earliest influences. What a great sound he had. He also was one of the real pioneers of the folk rock sound in Los Angeles, influencing bands like the Eagles and Poco.
